Lynea starts construction of 56 townhouses in Slättmalm, Botkyrka

Lynea has taken possession of and started construction on a project comprising 56 townhouses in Slättmalm, in the municipality of Botkyrka.
The townhouses will be built in timber, with modern two-storey layouts and a high standard of finish. All homes are being constructed to achieve Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification and are designed to meet high sustainability requirements, with high-quality materials and energy-efficient solutions.
Slättmalm is a growing residential area with a location close to nature by Lake Malmsjön, just east of Vårsta centre in the municipality of Botkyrka. The area has good transport links to Stockholm and is being expanded with, among other things, a preschool, a park and new public transport.
Construction has begun together with Blooc and Derome as collaboration partners, and the first homes are planned for completion during the autumn of 2027.
Slättmalm is the latest addition to Lynea’s collaboration with Blooc and Derome. Together, the three partners have started projects comprising 220 homes in Greater Stockholm. Lynea now has a portfolio of 440 townhouses and semi-detached houses, of which 70 have been completed.
“Slättmalm is a fine example of the kind of well-planned homes in attractive locations that we want to be able to offer our customers. Through this project we are complementing our portfolio to the south and achieving a more well-balanced geographic presence, with attractive locations in both the south and the north of Stockholm County,” says Josefin Bergholtz, CEO of Lynea.
“We are pleased to continue our collaboration with Lynea and, together with Derome, to start construction on yet another project. Slättmalm reflects our ambition to develop sustainable and well-planned townhouses in classic garden cities, and it is valuable to do so together with a long-term owner,” says Stefan Gustavsson, CEO of Blooc.
