In Skvalpet and Brisen, modern architecture meets lakeside living in two harmonious neighbourhoods by the shores of Lake Mälaren. Here you live in spacious 99 sqm rental townhouses across two floors, designed by Blooc and built by Derome, with a focus on function, form and everyday quality.

Dining area and living room
The dining area sits between the kitchen and living room, creating a social space for relaxed family breakfasts and long dinners with friends. The living room is bright, spacious and easy to furnish. A large window facing the garden enhances the sense of space and brings in plenty of natural light. A glass door opens onto the terrace and garden, blurring the line between indoors and out.

Bedrooms
Upstairs you’ll find the home’s bedrooms, bright, timeless and well-proportioned. Each room includes built-in wardrobes from Marbodal for efficient storage. The rooms are designed to be flexible and can be used as bedrooms, guest rooms or a home office.

Bathrooms
The bathrooms have a clean, contemporary design with white glossy wall tiles and light grey floor tiles for a timeless and airy feel. On the ground floor, the bathroom includes a shower, toilet and vanity unit. Upstairs, the bathroom features a washing machine and tumble dryer and is conveniently located close to all bedrooms, so you don’t have to carry laundry between floors.

Garden and outdoor spaces
Each townhouse has its own private garden where the lawn blends seamlessly into preserved natural ground, meeting the surrounding woodland and, just beyond, Bro Hof golf course. Along the back of the house there is a generous terrace perfect for relaxing outdoors.
At the front, carefully designed entrance gardens with hedges between the houses create a sense of privacy and clear boundaries. Parking is close at hand, both on the driveway and in shared areas.

Bro Mälarstrand
Here, right by the waters of Lake Mälaren, city convenience meets the calm of nature in perfect balance. Few places offer a more waterfront setting than Bro Mälarstrand. With walking paths, sun decks, marinas and views over the lake’s many islands, everyday life feels refreshingly blue.
In Skvalpet and Brisen, you live close to both the shoreline and the area’s main street, with future restaurants, shops and services within walking distance. There’s room here for both everyday life and leisure – for golfers, riders and anyone who enjoys the good life. Two of Europe’s finest golf courses, at Bro Hof Slott, are right next door. The green surroundings also invite an active outdoor lifestyle, with nature reserves, swimming spots and hiking trails within easy reach.
The Architecht’s Vision
With Skvalpet and Brisen, we set out to create two neighbourhoods that reflect the best of Bro Mälarstrand – the lakeside setting, the proximity to the golf course and the balance between active and relaxed living. The townhouses combine simplicity, comfort and elegant design, blending naturally into their surroundings.
At Skvalpet, the warm tones of red brick and terracotta are inspired by the area’s old brickworks. At Brisen, a palette of green and soft grey echoes the nearby forest and golf course. Together they form a cohesive and harmonious whole.
The outdoor spaces are designed for calm and connection, with small gardens, natural pathways and pocket parks framed by trees and open views towards the surrounding forest and lake.
